Hollybrooke Farm is situated in the Skeerpoort valley, on the banks of the Magalies River, at the foot of the Magaliesberg Mountains, a mere 40 minutes drive away from both Johannesburg and Pretoria. The farm is owned and run by Steve Richie, a Scotsman by birth. Both businessman and farmer, Steve runs the farm with a passion that is seen in every aspect on the farm. His Scottish and South African heritage is clearly noticeable in his hospitality and warm and friendly demeanour.
Come and unwind amidst the quiet and tranquil surroundings of a working farm. Relish the peace of this natural bush setting which offers panoramic views of the Magaliesburg mountains and surrounding area. Enjoy guided horse trails along the banks of the Magalies and Skeerpoort rivers amidst picturesque scenery, riding a well-trained and safely equipped South African Boerperd horse. Delight in the safe and enjoyable experience of the picturesque scenery of the Magalies Meander, field and streams from the comfort, safety and excitement of a Suzuki ATV Quad Bike. Come meet the Biggest Rhodesian Ridgeback you will ever see, our gentle giant, Warrap. We have farm animals and cattle grazing in their own designated areas adding to that warm, breathtaking, welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
Afterwards, sit back in the shade of the Coffee Shoppe stoep and feast on the delicious food served by Betsie Malan, your hostess! Relax and enjoy a day filled with memories, made right here on our farm.
